Christ the King School

Classes started at Christ the King School in the 1995/1996 school year. Christ the King has grades K through 8. There are 2 teachers per grade.

A large statue of Mary in the hallway was given by a parishioner as a gift.

This statue was carved by Mr. Scherer who used to be custodian for Christ the King. The statue was carved out of bass wood and now stands on a wood shelf by the school office. Mr. Scherer used a picture from a small statue from Mrs. Wiedle's desk. He also memorized some of the statue's details before leaving the school and then he went home and carved from memory what he remembered. The Christ the King statue was dedicated on Friday, November 20 during the 8:05 mass.
