Young children develop in so many ways -- intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically. At Christ The King Early Education Center, our goal is to promote the healthy development of children. It's our only goal, but it's no small task.

Dedicated teaching professionals plan daily activities based on each child's individual level of development. We believe that children learn best in an environment that is responsive to their needs, stimulating, nurturing. In addition to curriculum focusing on literacy, religion, and socialization, each classroom is equipped with learning centers designed to develop creativity and cooperative play.

Full day early education programs are available for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the year. Before and after school care for children ages 5-12 is available during the school year. Limited full and half-day services are provided on school in-service days as well as during Christmas and spring break. A full day summer camp for school age children is also available. Children are not denied care because of their race, color, religion, national origin, gender, or disability.

A half-day preschool classes for three year old students is offered on Tuesday and Thursday morning and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (morning and afternoon) for children ages four and five. These classes meet only during the school year.

Christ The King Early Education Center is licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Waiting list priority is given to parents with children already in enrolled in the center, Christ the King parishioners, and families of the Catholic faith.
